Today we are going to explore the knowledge economy and how can knowledge economy use in the media, but first what is knowledge economy and the knowledge economy related to communication.

Social media is the collective of online communications channels dedicated to community-based input, interaction, content-sharing and collaboration. And the most popular social media are Instagram, Facebook and WeChat. There are some popular social media such as Instagram, WeChat and Facebook. And social media influence for people’s life.
What is Instagram?
Instagram is essentially a camera smartphone app with a social community built behind it for sharing images. The app was purchased from its creators in 2012 by none other than the world’s leading social media network, Facebook.

According to the statistics, the number of using Instagram as of June 2018. At that month, the mainly mobile photo sharing network had reached 1 billion monthly active users, up from 800 million in September 27.

For myself, the social media impact on me a lot and the most important point is innovation. The major of me is media and the innovation is the most important in digital capitalism and for media. I would like to design or create a new application like Instagram or WeChat. Due to these social media cannot use all over the world so I think all the citizens need a new social media to connect or communicate. It can not only decrease the distance but also share the information easily and learn different culture, it can also good for globalization.

Knowledge Economy
The knowledge economy is a system of consumption and production that is based on intellectual capital. Knowledge economyis related to digital capitalism and it is a new appeared word in the revolution of the informational industry which means people who occupy the large flow of data in the media world. With those revolutions, informatization, digitization and networking bring fresh blood to the digital industry.

Informatization makes production methods get rid from traditional industry to digital industry. Elements of traditional industry are money and contracts between manufactures and supplies and customers, but elements of digital industry become information and invisible agreements between manufacture and customers. Media plays an important role among the transition of traditional industry to digital industry, when hypostatic trading does not merely limit in goods to goods, media becomes the best choice for digital capitalism to get advantages in today’s world. 

Nowadays, the information age is becoming more and more important, and the digitalization of information is becoming more and more important. Digitization is not only limited to goods to goods, trading and media can instead of using cash. For example, in China, people would like to use Alipay or WeChat like Apple Pay replace the cash or cards. The difference between digital capitalism and capitalism is that it is no longer the only condition for measuring wealth, knowledge is another way to measure. Knowledge innovation has a very big impact on digitalization. 

Simply, digital capitalism is business of the information and knowledge economy.In the knowledge economy, educated workers, communication, information and technology are central to create wealth. For example, YouTube LLC (YouTube) is a subsidiary of Google LLC, people can share, view and discover video on that. The company offers services such as uploading, 3D video, and channels. It provides video blog, short original video.

What is more, it is indicated that networking helps digital capitalism to establish their positions among the word. Due to the globalization trade is not only limited by real property but also distance. With the boost of media, digital capitalism used to be, digital capitalism have more general customers that a long as people who use digital devices the they could be customers. Trend of social apps such as Facebook and Instagram makes media to be one part of lives of people, media is so convenient that almost the whole world use it to exchange information. 

Conclusion
The power of Instagram for communication is very significant and social media of knowledge economy is also impact to people’s life. The main points of digital capitalism are that informatization, digitization and networking and the knowledge economy. And digital capitalism is a new appear, people learn how to use it and how to innovate from that.
